Boost Leak??
Posted this i the 7.3 section also...JIC you guys havent seen it over there:
I was tooling around in the X on a long uphill straight last night using the 100HP tune. When doing about 70, something made a noise that sounded like a balloon being deflated, holding the edges apart, so it "whined." I backed off, it stopped. Got on it again, whine. I know, I don't have gauges yet and they're going to be ordered this week. I dont know if its a boost leak from the boots or just the WG bleeding off pressure. I see the usual soot around boots as well (CCV Mod coming soon). I am quite puzzled as to what this could be. Any ideas?
