08 Level Kit... $220.00 Installed...

I realize these kits are like... $80.00 shipped online. But, currently an apartment dweller and sold all my heavy tools are GONE!!! Gotta love divorces.

So, $220.00 installed worth it? I'm running descent tires now. But, want to go bigger after these ones wear out. Planning an 8" lift and 39s by next spring.

SO, my question is... is it worth $220.00 to get a slightly bigger looking truck for the mean time until I buy a 2nd rig so I can lift and install 39s on my F350? WWYD? (what would y'all do?)

That sounds like a good deal to me. I would do it. But I have not been doing a ton of research on pricing.
When you get the leveling kit installed does the back end sag when you are towing? I want 35" tires but I hate that sagging look.

Sounds to me like a waste of $220, whether it's a good deal or not. Can't you just wait until you put your lift on? Also I hate leveling kits. Sure they look fine when you don't have more than 100lbs in the back. But throw any substantial weight in the back and it looks like a broken low rider. Whenever I lift a truck I make sure to get the same lift front and rear so when I haul a load it doesn't drag ***.

just put the 8" lift on it now. that way you can get even worse mileage now!
why wait? An 8" bigger hole in the air should be good for 3 maybe 4 MPG
All BS aside keep your 220.00 you will need it for fuel when you have 2.

I put a leveling kit on my 08 F350, and I get compliments on it all the time. Everybody thinks it's been lifted all the way around. As far as the rear sagging while loaded, an airbag kit is only around $200.00 or so, that installed you have a very inexpensive 2.5 inch lift. I would say $220.00 is pretty good, a lot of the kits on ebay don't come with the shock extension brackets that are need. Good Luck on whatever you decide.

I went with the 3" leveling kit in front and F350 blocks in the back. It gave a nice boost to the stance of the truck. Had a local truck outfitter do the work. $945 included a front end allignment. I did quite a bit of research and shopping around. Labor portion was only $260.
I have before and after shots on my profile.

I wouldn't trust putting 37s on it. But, mainly because it doesn't come with any replacement shocks. It'll be a nice poser lift to get you the height you want and clearance for the larger tires. But, don't expect the stock shocks to hold up to the extra weight of the larger tires. Definitely need to consider shocks all the way around and possibly a steering stabelizer.

Bang for buck, doesn't seem like a bad deal though.

If you want something that will actually improve ride quality and performance I would recommend the Bilstein BTS system. More information of this system may be found here: http://www.trucktoyzperformance.com/...alm.php?key=58

The leveling kit looks good on a 350 because they have such a steep rake to their stance. 250's already sit level. I agree with Malabaker, I did a 2 inch leveling kit instead of the 2.5, then I added rear air bags for the heavy loads. It has to be really heavy to sag the rear enough to look bad though. Again I only have the 2 inch kit so mine still has a slight forward rake to it when empty.

We recommend adding 4" rear blocks on F250s. This will provide a level stance.
