Coil to leaf

So i was wondering if i could take the leaf spring mounts from my 77 f-250 and put them on my 79 f-150. I have a dana 60 front axle and would like to put it into the 79. I was thinking about making it a coil axle but i would love to just bolt it in. I looked at it real quick, and it looks like it would work. Anyone got an opinion?

Not much help, but i thought about doin this myself, and decided not to sheerly outta the way itll ride. Youll have more articulation with the coils id assume too.

Ford used leaf springs on the '79 F150 4X4 Supercabs. I don't see why you couldn't do it.
