performance down, bad fuel?
Hey y'all. My truck has been perfect until 46,000 miles when the egr fouled up and was replaced. Then @ 47,000 the fuel pump died and was replaced. This coincided with a switch to a new gas station...which I have stopped going to. SO, now there is a whistle when accelerating and rpm's are 1500-2000. There is a noticeable lack of power and a significant turbo lag that I don't recall being there before. What could be going on?? There is no smoke or difficulty starting, but sometimes when it's cold it takes an extra second to start.
edit: This is a 2006 6.0L (engine build date is 2005), F250, regular cab XL, long bed that pulls a travel trailer. Driving is 50/50 highway/city for the last 6 months.
