94 front shackle prob

94 front shackle prob
hey yall im new but i got a problem and looking for some help 94 f250 4x4 idi turbo the front dr side shackle has had a bad bushing and from lack of time i havnt replaced it now it has wore out the shackle where do i get one? the local ford dealer says it not avaible anymore any help would be nice thanks

I find that hard to believe, that same shackle was used up into the mid to late 90's.

i have (maybe if they're still there) a set of them in my parents shed back home, I definitly got them from NAPA. somwhere around 100 bucks or so for them.... long time ago now. i ended up putting new springs in so i never used the bushings. new springs c/w new bushings in them and ubolts were under 250 bucks tax in. thats up here in canada so make sure you dont rule that out if you springs are sagging a bit. my truck rides a lot better now too.

I can't remember right now, but I am thinking the cost was about 35 or 40 dollars for just the shackle.

im in louisiana and it was hard for me to believe to i havnt tried the local napa store yet but i will! i had a complete spring job done a year ago added 2 leaves to the front and 4 to the rear i shouldnt have saggin probs anymore but it rides like a stick horse thanks for all the help yall

Try adding 2 leaves to the front and 7 to the back.

No question you are in a truck after that upgrade.

They are out there, but the price for air ride is rather expensive to convert, and rather expensive to operate.
