I bought a clifford remote start system and had some people from the "Flea Market" put it in... BAD IDEA, long story short they tapped into the injector wire that comes from the IDM. I'm pretty sure you don't want it tapped in there...
I need to find a place to tap into so I can use the remote start function, without it it will crank continuously. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks a lot, this should be the same for my year truck right? I know the Tachometer on the dash has something to do with the Transmission.
To be honest I don't know about the relationship between the Tach and Trans. You can look at all the pins on page 1 & 2, but the Aux Tach Feed should be what you refer to as "RPM Wire".

Understandable, I will give it a shot and see how it works. I'm closer to finding it than I was. Thanks again!

I have read other posts that referred to this wire for remote start. Good luck with this and your TC Lock-up WITH dash gauge function in the other thread.

Well that just sucks. There should only be one White with Pink trace.
I found the white/Pink wire under the dash. It has to be it, I might just need to increase cranking time for the remote start. It got pretty hot here so I decided to wait till tomorrow morning.
Any luck finding the tach wire? I have no tach in mine and was unable to locate the tach wire
Yes, I found the Tach wire in MY truck. I believe my alarm module might be bad because it is not "Learning" the tach signal...
The wire I am tapping into is a White w/ Pink tracer to the left of the brake pedal. The wire is in a bundle of wires, you will have to cut the shielding off to access it.
