Here is something I haven't ran into before. I found these pipes run front the core support to the back of the fender. Also sitting there is a support for the hood hinge. There is a set on the back of the inner fenders too, never seen those before either.

I guess the hood hinge supports on the back of the inner fender belong there, but the top pieces I've never seen before, at first I thought someone made them.

I just last weekend found a wrecking yard 79 4wd with those inner fender hood hinge support plates.. they'll be on my truck soon ;-)

same source truck didn't have the tube/rod supports though- I've never seen those either...

Ive heard of hood hinge supports on camper specials but Ive never seen one personally. The tube fender reinforcements seem to be aftermarket or built by a PO.
