Rear end noise
I have a 2001 F 150 4x4 and when I come to a stop and take my foot off of the brake pedal and push the gas pedal I get a clunking noise from the rear end. It sounds like a brake hanging up but I just replaced the rotors / pads and it is still doing it ( I also backed off my e-brake tension) but if I come to a stop that is on a upward grade if I am setting at the light without the brakes on when I go it will not make the noise? I have had it in the dealership and they claimed it was the splines on the driveshaft going into the trans and it needed grease which they did and it helped but did not fix it. Any suggestions?
