Why would you want to. Your truck has coil pack ignition and is designed for 8 plugs. The 8 plug design is the feature that gives the 2.3 Ranger its untouchable fuel economy. No other 4 cylinder truck can come close. I would imagine you would have all sorts of unanticipated problems. If you burned the valves, replace the valves and valve seats.
