Well they are in. Took it for a test drive and everything works It took the trans longer to start showing temp then I thought but it did start moving just before I got home. Boost maxed at 22 PSI, cruising at 65 was about 3 lbs. Pyro was all over the place
The bad news is my batteries are on their way out big time. Just leaving the doors open over the last 3 evenings doing the install drained them enough to not be able to crank the truck over.
Overall I'm moderately happy with the Diesel Manor kit- I was somewhat not happy with the fit of the gauges in the pod, I thought the wiring connector choice could have been better (not such big connectors), and good gawd why such long wires??? I would recommend it though, the install instructions alone make the kit worthwhile.
I mounted the control boxes under the fuse box access panel with one self-tapping screw in the metal part of the dash under there. I saw your post and liked that idea but I don't have any angle iron around.
You probably have electronic meters with the control built into the meter rather than separate. The boost gauge is mechanical and would have no electronic control.
