hi i have a Centry cap on my 1999. it looks realy sharp but i wouldnt recmend the centry. my rear quarter window came unglued on the highway and blew off. they would not cover it under warranty and it cost $175.00 plus install. i would go with a leer or a snug-top if i had to do it over.
I've had both the Raider Nomad II and the Leer 100 XL on my 99 F350 SC, Lariat, SWR, SB, V10. The Raider was finally rejected after several trips to the factory in Moose Jaw Canada. They Finally got the leaks fixed but the rear door never shut properly due to a poor fit. The Leer is constructed better and fits well but I just discovered a leak in it. I suppose it will be going back to the factory too. They (manufactures) don't seem to want to pay a local glass company to reseal leaking windows.
I just got a RangeRider "cruiser" top for my 1999 F-250. It's made in Summerland, BC, nice gelcoat finish, strong fiberglass, seems well built. Had a question, they answered it directly and sent some dust caps for the canopy locks free.
I had a Leer on my Ranger and thought it was quite good, but for my 1999 F-150 I went with A.R.E. and have been very pleased with it. Check out the website for A.R.E. and look at the different styles. You probably can't go wrong with either of these two, so it may be a question of dealers, styles, and pricing. Regardless of which company you go with, by a painted top and not a colored gel-coat. The gel-coat will fade and not match your truck after a couple of years. A quality paint finish will hold up as well as the truck finish.
