mystery squeak
I have a 98 F150 4X4 that has been leveled by cranking up the torsion bars.. As of late, there has been a mystery squeak that has been comin from the front left hand side tire. I ve checked and it is not the wheel bearings, brakes or ball joints... it is a continuous squeak and i am suspect it is a bearing somewhere else... I recently replaced the half shafts/axles, if that makes a difference?? Any ideas?

Be glad its one squeak, my whole front end used to squeak if i looked at the truck. I took some liquid wrench penetrating lube and sprayed every moving part in the front end. It sat over night and this morning it was quiet as can be. Maybe give that a shot it cost $1.97 to fix a problem i had been quoted almost $2000 to fix.
