done on the 78 today, finished the carpet ( put a piece on behind the seat) and a few other little things. Put in new window seals and felts on the doors and installed an old tach I had in the garage. I also adjusted the timing and a few things in the carb. It idles like new now, and we're taking it out for a road test latter tonight.
Good go!!!!!! Wish I could find the motivation to do mine up!! But I'll probably be selling it in a year or two, so I'm not going to do alot to it. Unless I change my mind......again! lol
Yep, the whole family went out for a little cruise around Rouleau, the truck ran great and it is now nice and quite in the cab even with the wind blowing. I also noticed that the truck is reving right around 1900rpms at 100km/hr so it should be decent for fuel mileage.
good work colin... nice revs @ 100... mine pulls 2800 at 100km/h
Thank goodness you posted that because I was starting to wonder about my reading!!! 2750@100k!!!! But I feel a little better now, just a little better! lol
I have an overdrive tranny in my truck and a 3.25 rearend so that helps out quite a bit. Ryan I will try and post a pic tonight, give ya something to look at.
