Talking Happy lady

Hey all,

Just took my first long trip in 6's after I finished the engine rebuild and put the camper on her. I GOT 22 MPG!! LOL, as you can imagine, I's a HAPPY LADY!.
Went from rogue river, or to golden, colo and back again. I admit she didn't like climbing those 10,000+ mountains and she had a little trouble with the heavy head winds, but overall she ran like a champ.
Just had to share
Judi

Sweet!

Hey, get some updated pics in your gallery, so we can see what it looks like with the camper.

I'll do my best to get the pic's posted this weekend. Thanks Guys! I did get into some great conversations with folks about my "old beast" at some of the stops I made along the way. LOL, that 22MPG was hard to hear for a couple of guys. Thay had 2000 something trucks & couldn't get more than 12. (.... I'm sooooooo bad, they didn't ask what motor I had, LOL,LOL,LOL. I LOVE MY 240)

Judi, There are two methods at gallery edit, try the other one, click the browse button.

Load your gallery up, drive on.

Hey John,
I don't have the "drag & drop" ability so the "browse button" is what I was using. Just can't figure out why it won't load the java applet. Maybe my computer is just tooooooooo old. That does happen to me sometimes. (programs just don't like my windows 98.)

Great, see what can happen when you hold your mouth right.

I will have to disagree with one thing though, them stinking tiny mirrors don't work great, they don't on my truck anyways.

LOL, long as I see I'm not running over anybody when I change lanes and if the cops are trying to sneak up on me, I'm happy.

How about these:
west coast jr mirrors

These are about the only other mirrors I like besides the roundies. I've got a set on mine because the PO had annoying late model mirrors on it that had to go. Huh, I need to update my gallery and avatar...
