Star wheel stripped
Boy was wanting to put rear brakes on his 97 F150 with drums. Pulled the plug and it appears that the star wheel is stripped and won't allow me to back off the brakes to get the drums off. Any ideas on getting the drum off?

Spray it with some Blaster or WD-40 and try to back it off anyhow. It may take a minute or two, but you'll eventually get it. Or you can grab the gear puller and pry it off. The shoes will grab and won't want to give it up, but the insides will come loose if you pry hard enough.
