I wish I had time to BeerBQ this weekend, but tomorrow is day 8 of work... outside... in the heat.
Still need to make time to do my body swap, but once I get in the house with a cold brew, it's a little difficult to get moving back out again...
By going to Clear Lake to work to disassemble a cab while trying not to scream like a little school girl when I am wrenching under the truck and a spider drops on me.
Side note- I went to SF on Thursday. It was 96 degrees at Ocean Beach... ugh!
I'm not beating it...it's beating me! Only a couple days around the 100º mark and I feel like I'm gonna die...I hate it! Supposed to be cooler this week though, I sure hope so. Not looking forward to the summer if it's this bad already.
Me, I've gotten stuck grilling the past few days...AC was out in the house so we didn't want anymore heat induced than what we had already.
I can attest to that. Mine went out Friday too. Luckily for us we live on base, so they are requiried to give us a couple of portables to tie us over till they can get it fixed. I work at night, so I was not sure if I could sleep or not in this heat. But I came home at 7:30 this morning, and the repairman was here already, and it is fixed.

Mind if I ask about the inside joke? I have a friend that makes fun of me because when I have a cook out I call it a gettogether or a cook out and she calls it a BBQ. I just find it funny what people from differnt parts of the country call the same thing.
I am planning on heading up to Bridgeport to go swimming this weekend. Anyone wanna join us? It's prob going to be just me my wife and our dog. Maybe have a little cook out or something.
Beatin' the heat? Well, last week I was in Carlsbad (close to San Diego). My hotel looked out onto the beach. Temps were about 75-86˚. I returned home on Saturday and have been hiding in my air conditioned house, truck, and office. Darn! It got hot all of the sudden.
I was down in your neck of the woods yesterday, Ben. Sunny and hot up in San Rafael, but I hit a fog bank at about Larkspur. Met a guy I was selling Rover parts to at the north end of the bridge, and it was downright chilly out! Then I had to turn around and drive back into the heat...yuck!
