The dealers have some leeway in pricing the ESP, so your best bet is to get quotes from several dealers. Maybe even give some of our sponsors a shot at quoting it for you.

I have to chime in here about ESPs. They are not worth it financally. Go read any magazine or forum where they have an "Action" column (Good Sam is one) and you will find example after example of people needing help to get the coverage they thought their ESP had and found out it didn't. You pay a large sum up front, or increased monthly payments and again a deductable when you need it. Many of the more common problems are listed as exclusions and be sure to understand what they require of you to in order to get coverage. Many people also confuse warranty with ESPs. They do not cover what a warranty does and they usually require you to take difficult steps to use them. The less scrupulous ones routinely deny coverage in the hopes that you will just give up and go away. Your money would be better invested in a CD or Money Market account. If ESPs weren't extremely profitable for the companies that offer them, they wouldn't be pushing them at you with the vengence that dealers do. Save your money, pay yourself the interest as you probably won't need the coverage anyway.
