Cracked Plastic Grill

Cracked Plastic Grill
Just today I noticed that I have a crack in the plastic grill. The front side chrome layer is not busted but the back side layer underneath seems to be bulging. Is this common and is it a warrantee item on a 30,000 mile truck 2 ½ yrs old
