i am looking for a 292 long block. If anyone has one laying around let me know i am very intrested in getting it. my old 292 motor has 234,674 miles on it and the block just craked. i want to replave it with another 292 motor.

Deron, I have a few complete 292 engines, but no bare blocks. You might look at http://yblock.web-page.net/ for what you are looking for. There is a swap meet page there and you can post a want ad or maybe find what you are looking for. All of the 292's I have would need a total rebuild, and shipping on a complete engine would be pretty high. I am near Kansas City, so if you live in the midwest, perhaps I can help.
