Just got my dads 74 ford f100 ranger xlt 360 big block, It is a 7 year old crate motor.Around the 11 month or so it started smoking when off gas. brought it home about thre weeks ago. dont smoke at start up just letting off the gas and warm idle(a little) and rev up. Is this the valve seals or rings. Thanks

Not positive but I suspect the valve seals more, since you`ve found the right forums you`ll have the correct answer soon I hope.
