Yeah I will agree with MBB here, I've heard lot's of ways to mean "sweet" and ugly isn't one of them. Maybe you could start that as a trend. I don't think the ladies will appreciate you saying ugly when you mean sweet though LOL
after mudding a little bit this weekend, i began to hear a little noise that only sounded when i accelerated from a stop or very slow. it is a little bit like a deep tire screech... or if you said "err" to yourself quickly.... any ideas on what this might be? its really annoying to hear.
mud/rocks/gravel in your brake calipers
mud and other crap between your leaf springs
just a FYI for you first time mudders:
1. get a $0.99 spray bottle from Wally World and some baby oil. Coat the entire underside of truck with the babyoil. put it on thick
2. immediately spray the mudd off the truck. I know it looks cool, but the wieght of the mud can break your suspension
Between baby oil and a pressure sprayer, the mud falls right off. also, make sure to spray out the bumpers. those things can get completely packed full of mud...and the skid plates can hold a few pounds worth as well
wd40 works as well, that's what i use. But then again on my mud trucks i don't care too much that the wd40 doesn't come off the paint. I agree tho, get that mud off.
Stevo- you got some pebbles stuck some where. My mud truck squeaks constantly for the gravel stuck in it's brakes.
if the gravel and what not is the case... what do you recommend i do. it sounds more like something is slipping though. and i was also in a few inches of water if that helps the dignoses? thanks for the advice. but with this truck... i think im done with some of that hardcore mudding. i dont have to money to fix the damn thing.
