leafspring mount bolt???
I have to replace the front mount on my 93 Ranger rear leafspring. Grinding out the rivets went fairly quickly. But now I can't get the spring's bolt out. It's rusted in pretty good, so I took the grinder to the bolt head figuring I could then use a punch to knock it through. That isn't go so well either. I'm considering cutting off the bolt between the spring bushing and the inner side of the mount (bolt side) to get the rest of the mount out of the way - not really sure where that will get me though. Any suggestions?

Figured it out on my own. I cut the bolt between the inner side of the mount bracket and the leaf spring rubber bushing, this got the mount totally off the spring but left the bolt shaft stuck in the leaf spring sleeve. Then I removed the entire leaf spring and used a spike and sledge hammer to drive the sleeve and bolt out of the rubber bushing. Then I used a punch to hammer out the bolt by using a vise to support the edges of the sleeve. Once the blot was out I simply slid the sleeve back into the rubber bushing. reinstalled the leaf spring and bolted on the new mount.
