There is a couple of anchor screws to remove. One of them is behind the red lens in the bottom of the door panel. I forget where the other one is, but once they are removed, lift up on the entire panel and it comes off.
Unplug window switches and speakers as needed.
A 60 second job, basically.

Just the other day a great link was posted for me regarding this. Do a search back to 5/12 on this same subject and you will find the link. Photos and all.

Thumbs up Great info..

I am glad there are not those little push pin type fasteners. They make pulling panels difficult, and they never hold right when you put them back on...Thanks for the link to the pics...

One thing you can try on the dents is this....

get a couple cans of the computer duster cleaner cans. Then spray the air real close to the truck so it freezes on the truck on the dent. Then get a heat gun and pass it over the frozen portion and the dent and it just may pop out on its own... I have seen this work on some pretty bad dents before...

good luck,

that is AWESOME!!! I'm going to try that on my girl's truck - one of her horses decided to bump her door one day... oops

Is this similar to what they do for "paintless dent repair"?

I have no idea... but it is like magic... you just sit back and the dents pop out.

It won't work on everything... but it does work!

I'd like to know the results of this trick, and no it's not similiar. They use special tools that will amaze the layman.

I wonder if liquid nitrogen would do the same thing? It would also have to be a real heat gun because a 1500 watt hairdryer would not get hot enough, right?

How about a co2 fire extinguisher and a cutting torch? I know that would be cold enough and the torch would be hot enough.

Yeah you could melt it back into shape...LOL..

It is just a standard heat gun. We didn't use a hairdryer... I bet some of those may work..LOL..

Yeah but the torch would destroy the paint on my nearly pristine Vdub. My truck is dent free.
