Good morning Gentlemen!

So Happy It's Thursday... This week seems to be dragging for me... but I'll stop before I whine about it.

Looks like we're gettng East Coast temps for our West Coast Memorial Day weekend.

Everyone should wine a little. We'll all feel better.

Paso was great! I just love being there. Great wine, great dining, my kids tried out my Ruger Mark .22 pistol and had a blast!

The only downside was when we were leaving a deer ran out in front of a truck coming the other way. He hit the little doe which launched her into my left side Reunel bumper and fender. I won't share details.... It's sad but she certainly didn't suffer long at all. Didn't need a finishing round. Poor thing, and what a waste of venison. I just hate to see animals lose their life in that way.

Anyway, I've got a large dent in that fender now. Hopefully it can be 'popped out'.

Don't count your chickens before they hatch.

When rain is forecast it's sunny, when sunny is forecast, it's rainy...or a sudden thunderstorm pops up and overwhelms your windshield wipers.

This ain't CA, this was the weather in NC and TN last week.

Bummer, Russ. But the 'yotes and buzzards will take care of it.

I'm sure that Reunel probably saved you from a more expensive repair.

Russ, I was just taking a closer look at that bumper you have. Wow, that thing is a brute! Looks awesome!

Very true Bill! Forecasting = guessing.

Yes Steve, the Reunel definitely saved the Harley headlight! The stock bumper would have been thrashed as well.

Just thought I'd drop in and say "Hi". Haven't checked this chapter lately (bad dumptech). Sorry I missed the last G2G in Porter Ranch. Didn't check this forum or messages. Steve, thanks for taking the reins of the chapter. I'll check back frequently. It would be nice to put faces with the names I see all the time.-DG

Glad to see you checking in - I'm sorry as well you were not able to make the G2G. There will be more.

By the way - "Bubba's World" is very cool.

Thanks Pat! It's nice to be able to build the truck I always wanted.

I put it on just in case of a deer encounter... too bad I actually needed it for that.

Sounds like you are about to get dumped on up there in the San Gabriel Valley, Russ - hail, heavy rain thunder and brimstone.

It's raining here at the landfill!
Steve, I'm economically stimulating a local RV service place and getting some suspension work done on Bubba (sway bars, shocks, maybe air bags). That should help him carry the Porta Palace a little better. I'm looking forward to showing them both off at some future G2G. A weekend campout would be great. Lots of nice places in my neck of the woods. If I can help, please let me know. I won't be a stranger around here (strange, perhaps).-DG
