That's great and I'm sure a relief. It's tough selling property right now. Hopefully you've got a solid buyer. Did you get a fair price?
Bill
His average credit rating is around 750 and he's pre-approved for an amount greater than the price agreed upon, so it should not be a problem.
We have lowered the price 3 times. In retrospect we started too high (delusions of grandeur, and all the work I put into it was still fresh in my mind). I think a large part of that was also our failure at that point to look at it as nothing more than a piece of property and sever the emotional attachment. I'm not certain that I have completely done that, but I am relieved that the process is moving forward.
Compared to similar recent sales, the price we got is fair.
ah the cut throat business of buying and selling...sorry bout that steve!...and im still on jury duty...got on a jury tuesday as a alternate and then this morning a juror pulled out and i was put in the #1 spot, we closed about lunch and started deliberating at one and didnt reach any conclusion so we all have to go back tomorrow for another round of deliberation! but im getting paid 15 bucks a day on top of my $3.40 for three days for gas : /
Good Morning Steve and SoCal. Well, it was Nebraska's turn for the wild weather. Not much here in Omaha, but out west it got nasty. Waiting to hear from a couple of the guys to make sure everyone is okay. Especially from Kearney, they got their butts kicked yesterday afternoon.
Hello Left Coast...how is everyone this fine Friday???
It has NOT been a good day. Restarted a server today, and dang, no video. Tried everything I could think of before calling Dell. We've got 4 hour warranty service, so superdog is on his way.
While I'm waiting for the guru, I filled up my truck. A little over 34 gals, at $5.25 per, so ... you do the math. I can't bear to type the number.
Guru gets here and it's a bad remote access card plugging up the pipes. About 5 minutes and he's outta here. Which is great, except the telephone support had me doing gymnastics for an hour before they dispatched the guy. And it was painfully obvious that swapping cables around was not going to fix it.
Well, I think I salvaged the weekend, cause it's up and running. We're taking the Sam Maloof tour tomorrow, so that should relax me a bit. Maloof Foundation
and i got done with jury duty! we said guilty as charged for her DUI and off we went! only took three freakin days! on a misdemeanor DUI!!!! man...seemed like a waste of time to me...but she has her constitutional right to a trial by jury for any and all crimes...but she got a guilty verdict on all counts so...shes gunna be doing some community service!!!
