Is a 74 F250 highboy dana 60 front axle a open knuckle?

only if it was installed after it left the factory
,no open knuckles till 76 on them.are you sure its a 60?

mm....damn....i found a 74 on craigs list...he says they're both d60's.....I was thinkin a quick buck to be made.....I need to bone up on my years of production.... LOL

it may be a closed knuckle 60 = weak

ya...but its got no motor, no front clip, Its just a frame, a tranny, and two crappy axles.. with a cab thats rusted to hell....not the kinda project i need

Ya...if gas were still 2.50 a gallon i'd be on my way for that second one prolly.......Only now at almost 4.00 a gallon......I don't really wanna be towing 7000lbs across the country......I'm bound to find one sooner or later...
