oh man u guys are prolly gunna wana kill me... but apparently right now in BC canada (where im from) u can get a brand new dodge 1500 4x4 ext cab, nicely equiped for $29 000.... i think im gunna go tomo and trade in my old 95 f250 for one! i need a new truck cuz mine is on its way out and i dont think i can pass up an opportunity to get a $35 000 vehicle for 29 000! i am disapointed tha i cant get a ford for the same tho
Definitly consider Ford, if you go to Washington, and go to Pioneer Ford, they are selling all vehicles at a Penny over Invoice. So it would work out to about the same. Right now Ford is really trying to move the 08's before the 09's come out. I think that right now you can get an 08 XLT for 0% for 72 months and 3500 cash back.
the other thing is that they are offering 0% financing on that price tho.... and i cant afford to pay straight up and there is no way that i cld talk another company down that far and get 0% financing
and the 3500 cash back from ford still doesnt get u that as good of a deal as the dodge... ( i cant believe i want to buy a dodge tho.. they look so feminine....but i guess a truck is a truck)
That Dodge is a nice truck! My neighbor has one with the big motor for his boat, chrome wheels etc. Gotta do what ya' gotta do..... if it works for you.
There's nothing wrong with a Dodge we have 2 dodge's and 2 ford's. And i know people on here will hate me but i would buy a Dodge 1/2 ton before i would a Ford 1/2 ton. Their is no comparison in my opinon. Just make sure you get one with a hemi not that 4.6liter junk.
I bet you could save at least $25,000 by fixing your old truck
Those new trucks look good until you get the payment book.
I can not afford to make a $400 to $500 payment on something that at best is going to get 20mpg with gas at $ 4 per gallon. I will keep fixing my old 1996 truck and drive the gas sipper (1990 Honda Accord 32mpg) back and forth to work and use the truck when I need a truck. I will buy a new truck when they put a small 4 cylinder diesel in a full size 4x4 that gets 30 to 40 mpg
if you can't afford a real truck (or have rocks in your head) buy a dog.........there's a reason companies aren't buying them anymore...when you consider maintainance they (dogs)cost more over the years
this deal is all accross bc (or even canada) have a look at dodge.ca.... i can affard to make the payments and already pay for gas for my 351 in my ford so the 5.7L dodge's gas mileage willl prolly seem amazing to me.
I drove a brand new dodge for about a year and it had just as much wind noise as my 87 F250 it was a pile the tranny was acting up all kinds of stupid things going wrong that you wouldnt expect from a new truck. ram tough my *** they can ram it up there...well you know.
