well guys

the truck i bought was stolen... i got my money back and the guy i bought it off of got took to jail... but the bad side is they took the truck...

I would assume they (Cops) took possession of the stolen truck that was sold to PSD. I think that he was lucky to have gotten his money back but even if he hadn't the truck would have been impounded and returned to it's rightful owner. (Person or Insurance Co.) That is if I understand PSD's thread.

Wow that sucks! at least you got your money back. Who has the truck now the police or the Insurance company?

Are you going to be able to buy it back?

How did you get the title of the truck changed without knowing it was stolen? did someone change the serial number?

This happened to a friend of mine and he ended up buying the truck back from the Insurance company.

At least you didnt get charged with reciept of stolen property. they could charge you with that if they thought you knew.

well i did not need a title cuz all i was gonna do was part it out... so i said i do not need the title... but the funny part is i had the motor and tranny almost out... and the tires and rims were off... and the interior was stripped.. i still have all the parts that were completely off.. so i have bucket seats in my truck now... i love them btw... i will get pics when i get everything straightened out...
