I have a 2001 F250 PSD and I need to change my turn signal relay and I cant seem to find exactly where it is at. Could someone help me locate it...
I am putting in a heavy duty relay from napa because I put LED bulbs in for the taillights and now my turn signals are blinking really fast and the guy at napa told me that the EP-27 will slow it down... is that correct or should I do something else?
The turn signal and hazard flasher is mounted to the right of the steering column under the instrument panel. I don't know why it is blinking fast now, though that is usually an indicator that a bulb is out.
it is a lower current bulb..that's why they blink fast..I find the best way to get to the flasher is by taking the radio out..when I did my LED's I used a resistor behind each tail light like the one in this link...its listed right after the flasher....i got mine from a local truck stop that sells LED's.. i went with a resistor because there is less chance to fail like a flasher...
