Sand Storm pics

Thought I would start a new post for those that are not following the Izzy thread. Here are some pics I recieved yesterday from the Sandstorm recently in Iraq. I can't imagine having to deal with that - I would move.

I have been in a couple of storms like that. They suck. It feels like your face is in a sandblasting machine.

Man that is awesome to see like that in the picture! looks like something you'd see in a movie, how the cloudfront is coming all bubbly and explosive-like. Living that hell is a different case. I wish the best for Joe and all his comrades over there, aside from the normal stuff, but going through that! Get in the tent, and stay there... Hope you're not buried in a few hours. Question to those who know... does this just pass through like a hurricane-type deal, or does it stay like this for days on end?

yup jus went thru one of those a week ago.bad one. lasted 2 days.so bad couldnt see 50 meters in front of u and it hit out of nowhere,blue skys to orange death in like 3 min.i thought my guard tower was gonna come down.
