[updated:LAST EDITED ON 02-Jun-02 AT 11:28 PM (EST)] Another vote for Western Washington...
Ocean Shores on the weekend, Bellevue
during the week...

And talking about old Y-Block guys, Walt
Nuckels had a few really good tips for the
Y-Block, just do a search for him, you'll
see that he was an old Y-Blocker from way
back. Unfortunately, he passed away late
last year, taking all that knowledge with
him...

I have a 1963 F100 Unibody Custom Cab, small window, short wheelbase truck in great condition. Has a 292 2bbl with just over 51,000 miles original. Also have an HD 292 from a '61 Canadian Mercury farm truck. I am originally from San Jose, CA, but moved to North Dakota in December of 2001.

55 F100 with a '59 312 in South Carolina.

Rebuilt by the late great Garland Parker, a dirt track racer who carried a shard of a 312 piston from one of his blown race motors in his pocket as a guitar pik.

We bored, sleeved, balanced the 312. Will be sweeeter with the new 4bbl

I live in Spokane, Washington, and am finishing a reconditioning of a 57 F600 MH 4x4 with a 272. Also now have a 59 F500 that has a 292, and was originally equipped with an automatic trans. Unfortunately someone started a change to a 4 speed and pitched the automatic. The rest of the truck is in pretty decent condition though, may well be worth redoing if I can ever find a trans for it.

I guess Im the only one in New England so far.
Southern NH.

Have a 54 F-350 with the 9' bed and a dump lift installed when new; was a landscapers truck that got parked winters so its pretty solid.
59K on the original 239 and 4spd with 5.14 rear. Runs great and I use it as a work truck hauling engines and all sorts of car parts. But I could use more oomph and less RPM on the highway.

Just picked up a .060 over 292 that was rebuilt 12 yrs ago and never completed. Has forged pistons and a forged crank, block is a 59. Guy kept it in a heated basement room with everything well oiled.
Going to pull the stock cam in favor of a Schneider grind for truck use. Looking for a nice trip intake, I have plenty 94's and 97's to use. Then Reds for headers to finish it off.
Included was a box full of new ECZ type valves and new springs but the guy hasnt found the heads yet!
Once I get the above in the 54 the rear is being replaced by a 3.70 9". If it hauls well the old 4spd may get replaced by a toploader.

Also picked up a 57 Merc 312, complete carb to pan. Hasnt been run in 15 years. Stuck, full of anti freeze so hopefully no cracks and there is no water in the oil. Hopefull its a keeper.
That will be going into a 27 Model T coupe rod project. Rams horns of course.

Will be building a 46 1/2 ton as a shop delivery truck but that one will probably get a 303 Rocket 88 and 38 LaSalle box since I have the parts. Dont shoot me!

Have a few flathead drivers but not trucks.
