Guys,
What is the stock height in the back for an 06 F-250 FX4. I bought my truck used a year ago and i have noticed it sits pretty level in the back, is this normal or maybe it's just me. Does anyone know the size of the blocks in the rear so that i can measure and compare. I'd much rather it sit up a little than be level.
I've just noticed several F-250 that do not have any kind of lift that i can tell but look noticeably taller than my truck. What else is there that could give them this look other than larger wheels and tires?
you can get them at the dealer or the FTE parts guy. His advertisement is always on the main page. You can also check the FTE classifieds. I did the 350 blocks on my 250 and it was really easy to swap. I was able to get a hold of the hardware for free, so i basically just paid $290 for a 2.5" lift.
Mine used to sit a little higher in the back until I started pulling a fifth wheel camper. Now it is just about level. Your truck probably was hauling something by the previous owner.

Is this correctible or not? I bought it with 16,000 miles on it so i wouldn't think that would be enough time to cause it to sag.
Probably not without changing the springs. These springs are a little"mushy" and tend not to return to their original height after being loaded several times (at least that is my experience). I personally wouldn't put the blocks from a F350 because i use my truck for work, towing, riding customers in, etc. It is tall enough for me allready.
mine sits level, bought it at 14miles and it hadn't pulled anything that I'm aware of just an occasional day driver. Now I get alot of bouncing in the truck when I pull my GN. SOme of the suggestions I've gotten is that the shocks are shot or the springs are not doing their job. I'm not a teckie so going to have my trailer guy check it out. I figure if it is bouncing the heck out of me my horse isn't very happy either in the trailer.
