I disagree Jason, you can beef up a stereo, and as long as you dont get out of hand with it, you wont hurt your hearing. Ive had loud stereos all my life, and i like my tunes loud, and besides my selective hearing (just ask my woman) my hearing is top notch. We have to get hearing checks done every year for my job too.
I guess too it depends on how much ya wanna "maximize" it. You could add a couple of eight inch subs, or you could yank out your back seat(if youhave an ext cab) and throw a bunch of 15's in there.
I had two twelve inch subs behind the seat of my reg cab 1989 half ton a few years ago, and it sounded good.
I have an extended cab, I think 15 will be a bit much, I dont need to entertain the neihborhood just want a fuller sound, right now my bass sounds flat and muddy. I have the stock system that came with the truck.
Is it good? Can you give a little info on it. Would it be worth it for me, a semi fan, to go out and buy it? I like to read about interesting people...
