hypertech programmer
I have an 05 with the 5.4 and I'm looking to get a programmer. I have read some reviews but I figured I'd get some input from the people that really matter, you guys!
If anyone out there has the Max Energy let me know what you think.

I have the Diablosport Predator on mine and I really love it. It is extremely flexible and the improvements are immediate. I plan on getting it Dyno'd and custom tuned when I go to Calgary or Edmonton next time in order to fine tune it. I run it on the 91 Octane Performance Tune and only put in premium fuel. I have the U7155 which is the same model you would need for your truck.

I had the Hypertech in my last truck (GMC) and I liked it, but didn't find the programmer for the 2005 and up Ford had as many options as the Diablosport Predator.

Hypertech has gotten better with fords over the years. There are a lot of choices available, Superchips, Edge, Sniper, SCT, ect. Look at the available options the tuners give you, Sniper is more powerful but takes more effort than the hand held tuners.
Compare them to what you need, do they offer the fuel type you want to use, handle your tire size, and anything else you want to play with.
