ABS help
Well finally finished the ball joint repair but now my ABS light stays on?
It was a pain to get the abs out and I noticed some of the copper wire was loose. So I cleaned it and tried to squish some of the few strands of copper that was loose back on. But now the ABS light won't go off. When I start the truck it blinks off once and comes back on? Called to replace the part and the want $150.00 ouch!
Anyway to fix it or just get it to shut off. I hate ABS anyways.

If the light is on, the ABS isn't going to do anything 
When you say "get the abs out" what did you remove? The valve unit? Or the sensors in the hubs?
Sounds like one of the hub sensors is bad, bad connection, bad connector, something.

I have a known good sensor I pulled from a wheel bearing hub job..If your interested lmk
