hood problems
I just took off my hood and remounted it again. Now,all of a sudden, the hood won't keep up.Has this happened to anyone else? I have tightened the spring 1/3 to 1/2 turn as recommended

I think your problem is in the hinge adjustment, it is on the inside of the hindge in the Crowl. You can buy new springs also for your hood, I believe LMC Truck carries them. If you don't have a Shop Manual you might want to pick one up, the adjustment for the hood is in it.

I don't know if I made myself clear, but before I took off the hood I could lift it up and it kept up. Now when I lift it, it just falls down right away.What kind of ajustments can I make?? Should I remove the hinges completely? It took awhile to ajust the hood to make it fit, so I really don't want to go there if not completely nessessary
