diesel=shaftage

any body else get the shaft on fuel prices today, i know its a record high down here in central texas at $4.46

i paid $4.09 less than two weeks ago. im afraid if the prices keep rising im not gonna be able to drive the truck unless i need it.

I'm driving it. Effe it. I will find ways to cut corners money wise elsewhere. I have 1000 mile round tripper next week that is going to hurt a bit.

I saw $4.68 the other day. I topped off my tank Saturday for $4.34 and felt like I was stealing it- in the town I live in it's over $0.30 more than the town I bought it in.

yeah i got a 900miler at the end of the month round trip, and i have to rebuild/or buy a new turbo before then too.

$4.79 here at one station I go by. But I usually go a few miles west to another county and it's .30 cents cheaper per gal. (Walmart Diesel).

I know but complaining is about all that can be done about the prices. Heck with it I'm still gonna be driving my PSD when it gets to $5!

Here's how I see it. Most of the people that come looking for this forum are doing so because there is something wrong with their truck...and finding kindred spirits here they don't feel uncomfortable using the forum to vent their frustrations.

Now, we have a problem that every single one of us faces and it seems we are all practically helpless to control it.....that is cause for a lot of venting. IMO all jumping down peoples throats is going to accomplish is more tension and possibly some bad blood within the forums. I think that is something we should strive to avoid.

Most, if not all, of the fuel price rants are tilted in the title so that one can pretty much guess what it's about......I don't read most of them, makes it a lot easier to tolerate.
