We did make 2 tons about a year ago, they still haven't deteriorated yet. Nothing commercially yet tho.I may start producing some for sale later this winter after my new plant is up and running.

Would they work in one of those stove designed to burn corn or pellets.

The quick answer is yes. I've tried them in a wood pellet stove, but I'm a little Leary about the burner chamber. I've been trying to find a used "corn" stove because the chamber is made with thicker steel, but there aren't many corn stoves around my part of the world............

Glycerol/straw pellets need to burn above 1,000 deg F to avoid making acrolein gas ( some nasty stuff!).

I'm going to use a combination of solar heat and a glycerol burner to supply all my heat for processing in the new plant.
