1983 351W headers
Does anyone know who makes headers for my 351W. It is in my 1983 ford F150. I glanced at a jegs but didn't see the kind that I wanted. I would really like a pair of Hooker SUPER Comp headers. I have seen them in hooker comp headers but any kind of header will do I guess.

I have the 351W (85) and am looking into getting headers as well. Did yours fit onto the stock exhaust perfectly, or did you have to replace the whole exhaust? I would love to do true dual exhaust, but if it's illegal to do so in my state I will just have to bolt up to what I already have.

I put Doug Thorley headers on my truck. They were the only headers that were CARB legal for emissions (although the headers don't seem to be different). The Thorley's look great, fit excellent, and their tri-y design really helped my low end torque.
What state do you live in and are you really sure that ture duals are illegal?
A full length header will not match to your existing exhaust and there will have to be some custom exhaust built. I got mine built custom and ran true duals with a cat on each side and it sounds awesome. Also, I didn't have any problems with the emissions inspection.
