Brake Issues
I am having an issue with my brakes at the moment. I have a 94 F-250 with the 7.3L IDI. I was driving it this morning and the brakes were working great before I shut it off and went to work. After I got done I started it up and now my brake pedal is hard as a rock to push (no more power brakes) and the brake light is on. Could this be the power brake booster just gone bad or something else. I still have brakes. I can still drive the truck it is just as if I had manual brakes.

My first choice would be the vaccum pump is bad the red light is the clue..... it is generated by the "Tuna can" on the left inner fender lower front. Ensure the hoses are good and all hooked up to the plastic manifold.
You would need a VP, alt and power steering pulley puller to remove the VP pulley.... most AP stores have them as free rental......
