I have a 51 flathead engine and need to two crossover pipes that lead from upper rad to cyl heads, mine can not be restored and other ones that I've acquired seem to be in bad shape as well. Does anyone reproduce these? Thanks
Dennis Carpenter, among others, have reproduction tubes. Carpenter has them listed for $16. You could look through the sponsor list on the left of this page, I'm one of them has them. I also got a pretty good set off of eBay, they aren't perfect but they look pretty good, for $20. The last set sold for under $7.
You could contact them and see if they have any availlable. The seller's eBay name is flatheadfactory.
You could also take your old ones to a muffler shop and have them bend up a set for you in stainless steel that you could polish and add some inexpensive bling under your hood. You'd likely get them for under $20 as well. Just a thought.

I had the same thought but couldn't find a place to do it. I figured they bend small OD stainless exhausts for the rice burners all day and bending a couple of radiator tubes wouldn't be a problem but they all told me they wouldn't bend them. I called all of the well known custom exhaust shops in my area. One told me they would bend stainless if I brought in the tube but they wouldn't guarantee the results because they said stainless tends to kink when bending.
