'05 Light Conversion
Just received new HD '05 headlights and ordered the Dfuser 9007 to 9008 wiring harness. The harness has not arrived yet. Saw that the driving lights will not work according to the description. What can be done to make the driving lights work again? Or is it as simple as running another wire?

The fog lights. It doesn't make sense that they won't work because of a simple connector/harness change. Makes me wonder how it's wired up. The '05 lights are still 3 wires, just a different plug. It should just be a plug for the old style lights with a short bunch of wire to the new plug style. Unless you ordered the bright light harness, then it may be a little different.
I'd wait for the harness to come in so you can look at before you do anything drastic. However, it is possible to make the fogs work on a manual switch if you wanted something like that.

Daytime driving lights is the position left of "off" on the light switch. Not all trucks have them, but i dont see why that would affect it either. A signal to the lights is a signal to the lights. You aren't changing a thing other than the plugs on the ends.
