This is one of the topics that I feel is probably correct, you maybe should replace your tires every five years but no one is going to do it, including me. At over $200 a pop for new tires, higher if you have a vehicle with hard to find tires, we're not going to be able to buy new tires every five years. Most of us don't put enough miles on our trucks to justify such an expense. He
it's hard enough to pay for the tires on my daily drivers. Now with gas so high it's even more difficult.
I personally believe it a ruse by the tire companies, and possibly the government to place more control on our driving habits somehow.
