Even with speed density, you can bump the timing without worrying too much about causing computer issues, as you already mentioned doing.
see about that though i havent got the truck yet. i should have it by next week. but im starting to get worried because he decided to put it up on craigslist yesterday. but i can understand its taken me a week and a half to get someone to buy my truck so i can buy his. im worried though cuz the truck is in such good shape for the price it might be gone. im thinking i might be able to give him 100 dollars to show him i will pay him the rest when my truck is sold.

MAF works a lot better with mods than speed/density. However he should have speed density. I don't expect ford to start using the MAF system on N/A motors until late 94 and 95.
