Need Help Computer ?
I had a banks chip and i went to take it out to put my tw chip in there. And i read on the computer Remanufactured computer. Then there was a big bank sticker on the there and i was wondering if my tw chip would still work on it. Actully i put the tw chip on and i counldn't really see a diffference. And then my truck wouldn't start so i took it out. I need to put new glow plugs and it was like 45 degrees here but still I would think it should start. I need more answers Please

The contacts on the PCM are coated with a clear coating. It is easiest to do this by removing the PCM thru the firewall under the Master cylinder. You can then take it to a bench and see what you are doing. I used a flat razor and scraped it off. Be careful not to go too far because you will scrape off the contacts.

Yea the wait to start light came on for a long time. But i think i just solved the problem it just needed pluged in. MY truck with not start if it is 50 degrees or below. I think my truck needs rebuild to with new rings and pistons and all the stuff. But thats for your help. I will clean the contacts on the computer.
