ticking noise

I have a97f150 flareside automatic.
There is a ticking noise coming either from the engine or trans.
It happens everytime that I take off. I think its the trans. because it seems to only happen in first gear.Any idea on what this could be? This is the first problem that i've had with my truck and I am concerned!! thanks,

This could be a cracked fly wheel, or the bolts are lose that attach the fly wheel to the torque converter.??
