4x4 not working any help?

4x4 not working any help?
I have a 01 f-150 with electronic 4x4 went fishing the other day and locked it in the dash light comes on and I can here the relay kick in however it doesn't go into 4x4. Anyone have any ideas? thanks

Welcome to FTE paz21paz,
Your shift motor maybe out, you can still move that by hand if you need 4wd.
