Hi Guys, I have a question about my 2000 F450 4x4. I ordered a set of chrome factory hub/lug caps off Ebay to compliment my stainless simulators. The item description said they fit 1999-2004 F450's so I ordered.
When I received them I found they are intended for a 10 lug wheel pattern, my truck has 8 lugs. What is the deal with this? I assume Ford offers different axles in these trucks, just looking for a little information on the different axles and or wheel stud patterens.
From my observations since this it looks to me like these caps fit the smaller 16" rims on the F350 dullies????? Why would a lower GVW F350 have more wheel studs that a F450 or F550????
Sounds like they sent you the caps for a '05-up F-450/F-550. Ford went to a 10 on 225 mm pattern in '05 for the F-450/F-550. Your '00 has a 8 on 225 mm pattern. The F-350 DRW's are and have been 8 lug, so the caps you have would not fit one of those either...
