Hello To Everyone
Just a quick to say, "HELLO" to everyone! I'm in the process of aquiring a 1999 F250 Superduty. It has the 6.8 V10. The previous owner was the first owner, and it was very well cared for. It has an F350 leveling kit installed, with 33" BFGoodrich A/T KO's. I'm no stranger to Ford Trucks. I actually have 2 - '77 F250's. One is 4wd, highboy with 35" BFGoodrich A/T KO's; 351m w/4 speed manual trans. The other is my "project" - hopefully. It's an extended cab 2wd; 460 w/C6 auto trans. The "dream" is to make it 4wd, building the lift around 40" Goodyear MTR's. It may be a sort of disappearing dream, but time will tell. My wife drives an '06 Expedition, soon to have a 3" leveling kit, and my youngest daughter drives an '02 Eddie Bauer Expedition. The '99 is being purchased via an ins. settlement from an accident I was part of, but NOT at fault for, on 4/10/08 when another driver lost control of her Toyota Rav4. She was east-bound and I was heading west. It had snowed about 8" of wet, heavy, Colorado-style spring snow and she ended up spinning into my lane. I was driving a '98 Jeep Wrangler Sport. I t-boned her passenger side. I was wearing my seatbelt and the airbags deployed, but beyond that, I believe the Good Lord decided HE wasn't ready for me yet, and that HE still has work here on earth that I need to do for HIM. The '99 will be the replacement for the Jeep. I'm just very thankful to be here and to be able to join up with the Ford Truck Enthusiast's site!! I've got some questions about the '99, but I'll post that in another thread. I look forward to hearing back from those questions!!!! Have a GREAT
day everyone!!! And DO NOT take for granted, each breath you take!!! IT'S ALL A GIFT!!
THAT'S WHY "TODAY" IS CALLED THE "PRESENT"!!!!
