Air Cleaners
This is for anyone with the 351HO in early 80's Ford trucks. Does anyone have an aftermarket air cleaner on the stock Holley 4bbl? I bought the damn Motorsport Chrome 13" Air Cleaner, and it doesn't fit(also bought a K&N for the Motorsport cleaner). Tried using a 1" Air Cleaner riser from Mr. Gasket, and even that didn't fit, rubbed against the choke linkage and popped off everytime the choke moved. Can someone please tell me of an aftermarket chrome air cleaner that fits this carb? The stupid evaporative hoses leading out of the carburetor are too big to clear the low profile Motorsport.

i used an edelborck air cleaner, it touches the spark plug boot just barely and rubs on the idle up thingie for the air conditioning, if u buy a second gasket and put it on there, nothing rubs

I like those air cleaners that are most likely replaceable filters...
